Schedule Production is a 3 part process of Scheduling Production, Closing Production and Posting Production. The Final stage locks down the record to ensure the most accurate Consumption and Traceability records. This is your last step and should be done after Production has been completed and confirmed - Posting may not be reversed.
This article assumes you have already scheduled and closed your production for the day, if you have not please see the accompanying articles - Close a Schedule Production Item, and Schedule Production.
When you're ready to post follow these steps:
- Open FlexiBake, navigate to the Production Centre and select the closed Production Date.
- Confirm no other Production needs to be added or removed and adjusted, if there is Open Production, close it first.
- Press Post.
- A confirmation will display confirming the post.
- When attempting to post without all Production Items being closed, an error message will appear to alert you.
Instructions on Closing Schedule Production may be found here.
Posting Schedule Production locks any additional production from being scheduled or closed for that day, unlike Enter Production which creates item at Post, Schedule Production adds the Items to Inventory when the related record is closed. In Schedule Production, posting LOCKS what has been produced.
When using Enter Production this process is slightly different as you post from within the tool itself, for full instructions please see our guide - Enter Production: Post Production.
