When you've finished production and finalized your numbers in FlexiBake, it's time to Post, lock the days production and create the declared products. This step is especially important if you're utilizing Consumption and Inventory as Enter Production consumes by FIFO.
This article assumes you have already scheduled and allocated production, and will direct you on how to Post a Production Day - See Enter Production: Based on Qty Ordered for instructions on scheduling:
- From the Production Centre, choose the Production Date you would like to post.
- Select Enter Production, the tool will open on the selected Production Date. If you have already scheduled production the OK button will be greyed out, otherwise press OK to save this.
- Confirm your Quantities to Produce and Press Post.
- A short message detailing the process will appear. Press yes and a blue bar will begin to move across the screen as FlexiBake calculates the required quantities and creates the requested products quantities.
If successful, you'll receive a related message. - When using Inventory and Consumption with FlexiBake, the program will calculate the quantities required and attempt to remove them from Inventory. When you don't have enough on-hand a list of required materials and shortfalls will appear.
Once these have been added to Inventory, you may re-post to finalize and add the products to Inventory.
