If you want to work to a stock level on your recipes, WIPs, or PIPs then this guide is the first step towards that goal.
Minimum Stock Levels can also be set up for Products if you like to keep your product at a certain stock level. If you are looking to set up minimum levels for Products, then you can find that article at the following link: Setting a Minimum Stock Level for a Product
If you are wanting to set up minimum stock levels for a recipe, then follow the steps below.
- Navigate to the Inventory Centre then click on the Maintain Recipes button.
- Locate the Recipe which you would like to set a Minimum Stock Level for from the grid, then double click to enter the Recipe page, or click once to select the Recipe then click Edit.. at the bottom of the screen.
- Navigate to the Production Tab, then check the Inventory Item box. Once it is selected, you will be able to add a stock level to the recipe.
- Add the quantity of the Recipe you would like as your minimum stock level. FlexiBake assumes you are inputting your stock level using the Recipes default unit of measure (KG, LB, Ea, etc.)
- Once you have added your minimum stock information be sure to click OK in the top right to save.
