Set Default Raw Material Shelf Life

If you're a high production volume company, you may not be too worried about having ingredients sit in stock for too long and expiring. Or, perhaps you would just like to save some time when adding raw materials. You can set FlexiBake to have a default shelf life for ingredients if none is entered in the raw material information profile.

To set the default shelf life, do the following:

1.  Navigate to the Menu bar to the Administration drop down then the FlexiBake Preferences button.
                         
2. Select the Raw Materials tab.
   
   
3. Enter the desired Ingredients, Packaging and/or Supplies Shelf Life in days. 
   
   
4. Click OK to save.

The default raw material shelf life will only be considered for newly created records. Existing records will not be affected by this update.
