Add a New Sales Order

Sales are what drive your business, so it's no surprise that they're one of the main driving features of FlexiBake. FlexiBake can produce a number of reports, help you plan production and even help you load your deliveries, just to name a few things, all using the sales that you enter in the system.

To enter a new sales order into the system, simply follow the steps below:

1. In the Sales Centre, click on the New S.O. button.
   
                               
2. In the Customer field, begin typing a customer name to have FlexiBake auto-complete the nearest match.
   • Alternatively, click on the Customer button to bring up a list of all your customers.
     
                    
3. Select a Delivery Date and a Ship Date for the order.
   
                                    
4. To add an item to the order, click on the topmost blank line in either the Code or Product Name columns.
   • Begin typing to have FlexiBake suggest the nearest match with auto-complete
   • Click the arrow to drop-down a list of products
   • Or, hit the F2 key to bring up a pop-up that will list all your products along with inventory statistics like On-Hand quantities and Amount scheduled for production. Double click on an item to add it to the sales order.
     
                      
5. In the Qty column add the quantity being ordered.
   
                    
6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 until all desired products have been added to the order.
   
   
7. Click OK to save and generate a number for the sales order.
