Receive an Inventory Transfer Request

Usage of this feature requires that your subscription grants you access to the Multiple Warehouses feature of FlexiBake; if you are interested in using this feature, please contact your account representative.

It is also necessary that you have more than one warehouse entered in the program and that you have already created a warehouse Inventory Transfer. Please see the associated tutorials for more information: Add a New Warehouse and Transfer Inventory Between Warehouses

For items that have been transferred to show up in inventory, you must receive the shipment as you would a purchase order. Thankfully, Inventory Transfers have their own grid in the Shipping Centre to make sure they don't get buried.

To receive a transfer into inventory, please follow these steps:

1. In the Shipping Centre, under in the section labelled Inventory Transfer Requests Shipping From, select the facility that the transfer is coming from from the Inventory Transfer Requests shipping from drop-down.                     
2.  Right-click on the appropriate ITR Slip and click Ship ITR No.
   
   
3. A new delivery slip will open. Click the Picklist button. 
4. In the Qty Picked column, confirm the quantity and lots of items received.                
5. Click the OK button in the top right corner to save the quantities picked.                   
6. Click the OK button in the top right corner to save. 
7. Confirm you would like to close the ITR Slip by clicking Yes. This will also close the associated Delivery Slip(s).
