These steps require that you have downloaded the Microsoft Remote Desktop application. If you do not yet have this application please see the associated installation tutorial for MAC users (which includes instructions to grant access to the file redirection), by clicking this link.
- Download the Microsoft Remote Desktop app from the Mac App Store.
- Once downloaded and installed, click and open the Microsoft Remote Desktop app.
- You will see the following screen. Click on the "gear" icon and then Preferences.
- On the Preferences window click on General and then click Choose Folder from the dropdown under "If folder redirection...".
- Use Shift + Command + H to select the users Home Folder or select the Home Folder from the Dropdown and click Choose. You may have a different location you would like to set up for Folder Redirection, if that's the case choose that folder/directory instead.
Once that location has been selected it will be available when exporting or saving reports and files from the cloud environment.
